Make Sure the Products You Are Buying are Safe from Undisclosed Toxins with COAs

Are you someone who is concerned about living a low tox lifestyle? If so, then you will want to know how to make sure the products you are buying are safe from undisclosed toxins using COAs. COAs are Certificates of Analysis and provide a great way to support your efforts in selecting products that help lower or manage toxic load.

A certificate of analysis (COA) is a document that provides information about a product’s chemical makeup. It is often used in the manufacturing industry to ensure that products meet certain quality standards.

If you are concerned about living a low tox lifestyle, you will want to look at COAs to see if the products you are using contain any harmful chemicals.

The specific harmful chemicals that a COA is screening for can vary depending on the product being tested. For example, if the COA is for a cosmetic product, it might screen for heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and arsenic, as well as other potentially harmful chemicals such as parabens, phthalates, and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives.

If the COA is for a food or dietary supplement, it might screen for contaminants such as pesticides, herbicides, and heavy metals.

It is important to note, COAs are screening for these toxins because they are OFTEN found in both name brand and generic products used every day by millions of people who are not aware that they are using products with these toxins!

For example, Environmental Working Group (EWG) tested many different types of oats available in the grocery store.  Almost all of them, even the non-GMO ones, tested positive for pesticides at high levels.

In general, a COA is designed to provide information on the purity, potency, and safety of a product. It can be a very helpful tool in identifying potentially harmful chemicals and making informed decisions about the products you use.

Although COAs can be difficult to read, we’ve got you covered! You can download our free e-book that explains how to read a COA and start making more informed choices on everything you buy.
