Key ingredients and their benefits:

  • Melanoidins: Complex compounds formed during the Maillard reaction, responsible for the brown color and some flavor in roasted coffee.
  • Chlorogenic Acid Lactones: Derivatives of chlorogenic acids found in coffee, which can influence its taste and have potential health benefits.

  • Norharman and Harman B-Carbolines: Naturally occurring compounds in coffee that can have psychoactive effects in larger quantities and may contribute to the beverage's unique flavor.

  • Trigonelline: A bitter alkaloid in coffee that contributes to its aroma and flavor, and it can also degrade into niacin (vitamin B3) during roasting.

  • N-Methylpyridinium: A compound formed during coffee roasting, which may have potential health benefits and is associated with reduced bitterness in coffee.

What Makes Purity EASE Coffee So Special

Purity EASE Coffee® is the result of our unwavering commitment to prioritize health at every step of the coffee-making process. With a foundation rooted in the latest scientific research, we have crafted a dark roast organic coffee designed specifically for easy digestion and overall well-being. Our approach begins with fundamental standards, which continually evolve as new scientific insights emerge.

Supports the Digestive System

At Purity EASE, our formulation focuses on supporting the digestive system, promoting microbiota balance, and maintaining a higher pH level compared to our original roast. This coffee is not only certified organic but also rigorously tested to be free of pesticides, contaminants, molds, and mycotoxins. Additionally, our commitment to environmental and social responsibility is underscored by our Rainforest Alliance Certification, ensuring sustainability in our coffee sourcing.

In our pursuit of healthier coffee options, we recognize the complexity of this beverage. The roasting process can significantly impact the compounds present in coffee. Purity EASE, our dark roast offering, is carefully tailored to avoid excessively high temperatures associated with the rapid formation of potentially harmful PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). This roast strikes a balance supported by scientific literature, offering potential benefits for individuals with digestive issues and positive effects on cognitive function.

Lower Acid, High Antioxidant

Comparing Purity Dark Roast to our Original, it's important to note that while Purity EASE maintains antioxidant capacity, its chlorogenic acid content is approximately half that of our original blend. For those sensitive to gastric fluid stimulation caused by high chlorogenic acid levels, our darker roast may be a more suitable choice. Furthermore, Purity EASE boasts even lower acrylamide levels compared to Purity FLOW, contributing to its overall health-conscious profile. Rest assured, our dark roast is intentionally calibrated to avoid PAH formation, making it more akin to a dark-medium roast, prioritizing both your taste buds and your well-being.
